Did I say yesterday Midnight Madness is killing me. Well, last night ‘The Butcher, the Chef, and The Swordsman‘ killed me with laughter. Hilarious and Gorgeous! Stay tuned for my full review later in the week.
Today I’m seeing a 09:00AM (please feel sorry for me) screening of the ambitious, Cuban set, animated film Chico y Rita that chronicles the lives of two lovers during their hit and miss relationship complicated by their culture and jobs as a singer and a jazz pianist.
Chico y Rita is directed by Javier Mariscal, Fernando Trueba. The star of the film besides the animation is sure to be the Cuban and jazz music over the period of 1948 to almost present day. Continue reading “TIFF 2010 – Day 9 – Casino Jack and Midnight Madness”
