She says doctors advise her she may have as little as three months to live. This is such sad news as is comes on the heels after Harper, a 73-year-old nonsmoker, battled lung cancer in 2009.

Harper won both a Golden Globe (1974) and and Emmy (1975) for “Actress In A Leading Role” for her show Rhoda. She also won 3 back-to-back Emmys (1971-1973) for “Outstanding Supporting Actress” in the Mary Tyler Moore Show.
Harper told People Magazine, “I don’t think of dying, I think of being here now.”
